She wants you to pluck her petals,
Kiss the fragile parts,
And make her wilt,
Remove her from the earth,
From any commitments.
And take her to your garden,
Take her to your home.
She feeds off your compliments,
Because her stem is broken, leaves cut open,
Hoping to get rid of ancient poison,
She can’t let you all the way in,
But your words are her water,
And she wants to you to make her feel that feeling,
The feeling of letting something grow.
She’ll dream of you ripping her petals,
Severing every tie just for a fantasy,
And she’s always scared,
And wants to feel everything again,
Uproot her, and plant her in paradise,
Hold her up to a naked sun,
Let the light reveal her colours.
And when the blood drips down onto the flowers,
Will you be there after countless hours
of pain and confusion?
Glue the petals back,
Or scatter them on the soil.
Would you reassemble the parts
or take her to feed your lonely heart?
“Love which pardons no one loved from loving
Seized me so strongly with my pleasure in him
That, as you see, it still does not leave me.
Love led the two of us to a single death"
